學術活動與計劃-學術研討會

本中心於2025年2月18日至19日,與外交部、加拿大駐台北貿易辦事處(Canadian Trade Office in Taipei )、加拿大亞太基金會(Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada)及卡爾加里大學公共政策學院(School of Public Policy, University of Calgary)共同舉辦了「台加印太區域安全論壇」(International Conference on Regional Security in the Indo-Pacific: Dialogues among Canada, Taiwan, and Regional Partners)。本次論壇邀請來自加拿大、台灣及印太區域國家相關領域的學者、專家參與,並設置多場專題討論,涵蓋區域安全、經濟安全、海洋安全、外國資訊操控與干預、中國的內政與外交關係、以及法律戰爭等議題。論壇的主要目的是促進台灣與加拿大及印太區域理念相近國家的學術交流與合作,並深化區域內民主國家對台海及印太安全議題的認識與理解,從而促進跨國合作與對話。加拿大派出了包括學者與政府官員的三十餘人代表團,參加本次會議。
此次活動不僅有效促進了不同國家與地區間的學術交流與政策對話,還為與會者提供了深入討論未來區域安全挑戰與合作機會的平台。論壇圓滿結束後,與會者對論壇的內容與討論深度給予高度評價,並表示期待未來能進一步加強各方合作,共同應對印太區域日益複雜的安全局勢。透過此次論壇,與會者不僅增進了對相關議題的理解,也為未來的多方合作與共同應對區域挑戰提供了重要的交流平台。

Our center, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei (CTOT), the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APFC), and the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary, organized the "International Conference on Regional Security in the Indo-Pacific: Dialogues among Canada, Taiwan, and Regional Partners" from February 18 to 19, 2025. This conference brought together scholars and experts from Canada, Taiwan, and the Indo-Pacific region, featuring several panels that covered key issues such as regional security, economic security, maritime security, foreign information manipulation and interference, China’s domestic and foreign relations, and lawfare. The primary objective of the conference was to foster academic exchange and cooperation between Taiwan and Canada, as well as with countries in the Indo-Pacific region that share similar values, while deepening the understanding of democratic nations in the region about Taiwan Strait and Indo-Pacific security issues, thereby promoting cross-national collaboration and dialogue.
